A nationally acclaimed company holding dual citizenship-not just in Colorado and New Mexico, as its name indicates, but also in the worlds of classical and contemporary dance. Aspen Santa Fe Ballet has made a lasting impression with a company of eleven versatile, energetic dancers performing a sophisticated repertoire featuring some of the world’s foremost choreographers.
Energy, invention, popularity, accessibility, and precision are benchmarks of each Aspen Santa Fe Ballet performance. Their best ballets demonstrate that they make use of the dancers to the best advantage, expanding the creative range of the dancing in a gallery of contemporary classical works that are appealing and challenging to the audience, and capable of saying new things.
